Boys' Town Service Learning

As part of the class VIA project, we worked with the Boys' Town organisation. As shown in the pictures below, My classmates and I volunteered to hand design merchandise to cut down on costs. We then went to locations such as Bishan and Somerset to carry out Street Sales. I was paired up with our YMCA representative Ivan as I was a confident speaker thus giving a good impression of our class.

During this project, I also led the Event Planning Committee to plan our booth during the school "SHINES" Carnival. I planned an escape room based on real stories given to us by Boys' Town and a Ninja Warrior Game that catered to the children. All proceeds of this event was sent to Boys' Town.

Lastly, I was also chosen as a representative for my class to give a presentation on the success of our project to the YMCA panel with 3 other classmates.
