INTRODUCING ZENDEN
Confident, Enthusiastic, Outspoken
What’s so special about me? Why would I, of all people, be suitable for this course? Well, I’m here to answer these burning questions. I’m Zenden, a student from Nan Chiau High School and I’ll start my portfolio off with an introduction of myself. I think an easy way to sum me up would be that I am CEO. You may be wondering, “ What is CEO? Is it my boss, that CEO?” NO, it actually stands for the three traits I think best describe myself, Confident, Enthusiastic and Outspoken. Whenever facing a challenge, I will never be the one to step down, I will face it head-on and see what I can do from there.

MY LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
STUDENT COUNCIL
Through my experience in the student council, I have learnt how to plan and execute events. I've written countless proposals and learnt methods in dealing with the interests of multiple parties. I am also in the student outreach department, thus I learnt skills in good content creation. This can benefit me in this course as it gives me a head start in the field of social media.
CCA VICE PRESIDENT
As the vice president of my CCA, English Drama, I learned to work harmoniously with my fellow excos. Together we run the weekly CCA sessions and plan events for members. We've taken charge of the CCA graduation, CCA camp and the school play, which I was the student director. These experiences allow me to learn how to manage large groups of people and builds on my confidence when delivering speeches.
CLASS COUNCIL
Taking up the responsibility as class vice chairperson was not easy. Together with other class councilors we work together ensure important information is dispersed. We have gone through leadership camps and bonding activities, learning how to build a strong class spirit. Together with the service learning heads, we plan and execute community service with our class. Through this I have learnt crucial skills such as teamwork and accountability.
